The 27kV High Voltage Fuse Cutout is a critical protection device used in overhead distribution systems to protect transformers, capacitors, and power lines from overload and short-circuit faults. This drop out fuse cutout combines a fuse link and a switch function, providing automatic disconnection when fault current exceeds the rated value.
Designed for outdoor installation, the fuse cutout features high-quality porcelain or polymer insulators, corrosion-resistant metal fittings, and a reliable arc-extinguishing mechanism. Its simple structure allows easy operation using a hot stick, making it widely used in utility power distribution networks.

For polymer insulator, the hardware fitting crimped onto fiberglass rod, material of housing and sheds manufacture of high-temperature Vulcanized Silicone Rubber, and the insulator moulded by one piece injection molding. It has good sealing performance and good performance of tracking and erosion resistance.
All ferrous parts processed by hot dip galvanized, its zinc coating more than 86u, it has good corrosion resistance.
Reliable Fault Protection:Automatically disconnects circuit under overload or short circuit.
Dual Function Design:Combines protection and switching in one device.
Visible Disconnection:Provides clear indication when fuse operates.
Outdoor Durability:Resistant to UV, rain, and pollution.
Easy Installation & Maintenance:Suitable for pole-mounted operation with hot stick.

Transformer Protection on Overhead Lines:Used to protect distribution transformers from overload and short-circuit faults by disconnecting the circuit when abnormal current occurs.
Overhead Distribution Line Protection:Installed on utility poles to protect feeders and branch lines in medium voltage distribution systems.
Capacitor Bank Protection:Provides fault isolation for capacitor banks used in power factor correction systems.
Rural Electrification Systems:Widely used in rural and remote areas for reliable and cost-effective line protection.
Power Grid Maintenance & Isolation:Allows manual disconnection during maintenance, ensuring safety for line workers.
Substation Auxiliary Protection:Used in small substations or auxiliary circuits for additional protection layers.
• Mount the 27kV high voltage fuse cutout on poles or crossarms.
• Connect the upper terminal to the incoming overhead conductor.
• Connect the lower terminal to the transformer or outgoing circuit.
• Install the appropriate 27kV fuse link according to system current rating.
• Operate installation and replacement using insulated hot sticks.
