The 24kV High Voltage Fuse Cutout is a reliable protection device designed for medium voltage overhead distribution systems. This drop out fuse cutout provides automatic circuit interruption when fault current exceeds the rated limit, protecting transformers, distribution lines, and electrical equipment from overload and short-circuit damage.
Constructed with high-quality porcelain or polymer insulation and corrosion-resistant metal components, the fuse cutout ensures stable performance in outdoor environments. Its arc-extinguishing design enables safe and efficient fault interruption, while the visible break function allows easy inspection and maintenance in utility applications.

For polymer insulator, the hardware fitting crimped onto fiberglass rod, material of housing and sheds manufacture of high-temperature Vulcanized Silicone Rubber, and the insulator moulded by one piece injection molding. It has good sealing performance and good performance of tracking and erosion resistance.
All ferrous parts processed by hot dip galvanized, its zinc coating more than 86u, it has good corrosion resistance.
Efficient Fault Protection:Automatically disconnects circuit during overload or fault conditions
Visible Open Gap:Provides clear indication after fuse operation
Durable Outdoor Design:Suitable for long-term exposure to harsh weather
Flexible Installation:Ideal for pole-mounted overhead line systems
Easy Operation:Can be safely operated with a hot stick

Distribution Transformer Protection:Installed near transformers to isolate faults and prevent equipment damage caused by overcurrent or short circuit.
Overhead Line Branch Protection:Used at branch points of distribution lines to isolate faulty sections without affecting the main feeder.
Rural and Urban Power Networks:Widely applied in both rural electrification and urban distribution systems for reliable circuit protection.
Capacitor Bank Protection:Protects capacitor banks from abnormal current and ensures stable reactive power compensation systems.
Maintenance and Line Isolation:Provides a visible disconnection point for maintenance operations, ensuring safety for line workers.
Utility Power Grid Applications:Used by utility companies in medium voltage networks to enhance system protection and operational reliability.
• Mount the 24kV high voltage fuse cutout on poles or crossarms.
• Connect the upper terminal to the incoming overhead conductor.
• Connect the lower terminal to the transformer or outgoing circuit.
• Install the appropriate 24kV fuse link according to system current rating.
• Operate installation and replacement using insulated hot sticks.

Q1: What is the difference between 24kV and 27kV fuse cutouts?
A1: The main difference is the rated voltage; both serve similar protection functions in different system levels.
Q2: Can this fuse cutout be used outdoors?
A2: Yes, it is designed for outdoor pole-mounted installation.
Q3: What equipment does it protect?
A3: Transformers, distribution lines, capacitor banks, and other electrical equipment.
Q4: How does the drop-out function work?
A4: When the fuse link melts, the fuse tube drops open, creating a visible break.
Q5: Is it easy to maintain?
A5: Yes, it allows quick fuse replacement and safe operation using standard tools.
