Dead end guy grips, installed at the top, the breaker and the anchor, provide today's most effective method for
securing guy strand. This unique, one-piece dead-end is neat in appearance and free from bolts or high-stress
holding devices. The dead end guy grips was the first to offer the cabled loop, a feature that provides more
durability, easier tensioning and adaptability to multiple guying.
Dead end guy grips are made of the same material as the strand to which they are applied. They should be used
on hardware that is held in a fixed position. The fitting should not be allowed to rotate or spin about the axis of the
strand. They should not be used as tools; that is, come-along, pulling-in grips, etc.

Galvanized Steel Preformed Guy End Guy Grips are designed for secure termination of guy wires used in overhead power line and utility pole systems. Manufactured from high-strength galvanized steel, these preformed guy end grips provide excellent holding power without damaging the guy wire. The helical preformed structure ensures uniform stress distribution, making the galvanized guy wire dead end grip a reliable solution for long-term guying applications.
High tensile strength for secure guy wire termination
Hot dip galvanized steel for corrosion resistance
Preformed helical design distributes stress evenly
No special tools required for installation
Long service life in outdoor environments
Compatible with various guy wire sizes
Pre twisted wire is a product made by pre twisting several single stranded spiral metal wires. According to the cross-sectional size of the wire, rotate the spiral metal wire with the specified inner diameter in the spiral direction to form a tubular cavity. The pre twisted wire is wrapped in a spiral around the outer layer of the wire. Under the tension of the wire, the spiral rotates, forming an anchoring force and grip force on the wire. The greater the tension of the wire, the tighter the spiral rotates, and the greater the grip force on the wire.
Guy wire termination for utility poles
Overhead transmission and distribution lines
Communication towers and infrastructure guying
Substation and power line support systems
• Select the correct galvanized steel preformed guy end guy grip according to the guy wire diameter.
• Position the preformed grip at the end of the guy wire.
• Rotate and wrap the helical grip evenly along the guy wire by hand.
• Connect the terminated guy wire to anchors, guy hooks, or pole hardware.
