The 27kV High Voltage Electrical Distribution Standard Fuse Cutout is designed to protect overhead distribution lines by safely interrupting fault currents and isolating damaged segments. Available in both polymer and porcelain insulation options, it provides strong electrical performance, high mechanical durability, and excellent weather resistance for long-term outdoor installation.
High performance of weather aging resistance
For porelain insulator, the porcelain body connects with hardware fitting by cement
pouring, we use the (por-rok)ANCHORING cement manufactured by CGM INC from
USA. This kind of cement has rapid solidification, high mechanical strength, low
expansion coefficient and superior weather resistance.
For polymer insulator, the hardware fitting crimped onto fiberglass rod, material of housing and sheds manufacture of high-temperature Vulcanized Silicone Rubber, and the insulator moulded by one piece injection molding. It has good sealing performance and good performance of tracking and erosion resistance.
All ferrous parts processed by hot dip galvanized, its zinc coating more than 86u, it has
good corrosion resistance.

High breaking capacity for reliable fault isolation
Polymer/porcelain dual options for diversified environments
UV-resistant, moisture-resistant, and corrosion-proof structure
Visible break enhances safety for maintenance crews
Hot-dip galvanized steel hardware for extended durability
Stable insulation under pollution and heavy weather
Fast fuse replacement reduces outage time
Excellent arc-quenching design
Strong mechanical strength to withstand vibration and wind load
Compatible with all standard 27kV distribution networks
27kV overhead distribution lines
Industrial and commercial distribution networks
Pole-mounted transformer primary protection
Rural & urban feeder lines
High-humidity, coastal & contaminated regions
Renewable energy distribution systems (wind/solar)
• Install on pole structures using galvanized brackets or crossarms.
• Connect conductors using standard torque to ensure reliable contact.
• Insert the fuse tube and secure the drop-out mechanism.
• When a fault occurs, the fuse melts and the tube drops, visibly isolating the circuit.
• Replace the fuse link after confirming the line is safely isolated.

Q1: What is the main purpose of a 27kV fuse cutout?
A1: It isolates faulted sections to protect distribution lines and equipment.
Q2: Are polymer and porcelain versions both available?
A2: Yes, both are offered for different installation environments.
Q3: Can it be used in coastal or polluted regions?
A3: Yes, especially the polymer type, which offers excellent hydrophobicity.
Q4: Is fuse replacement convenient?
A4: Yes, the drop-out design allows fast and safe replacement.
